MVMNT

This program is designed for women 55+, looking to improve their mobility, increase their strength and focus on their overall health.

In just 5 short weeks you will leave this program with a better understanding of your own strength! (Which is probably way more than you give yourself credit for).

The goal is to make your everyday life easier. By creating more stability in the body, creating more range of motion in the joints and learning the foundational exercises and proper form.

10 Session Package @ *$99 plus HST

  • To be used within the 5 week program period - credits cannot be carried over. Unless organized separately.

5 Session Packages @ $69* plus hst

Mondays @ 1:00 pm & 6:30 Pm (Except on the 20th - moved to June 17th)

Wednesdays 6:30 pm
Thursday @ 9:00 am

Let’s break it down. What is included?

This 5 week program is dedicated time to focus on progressing your strength, learning how to move confidently and engaging supportive community.

What’s included in the Foundations MVMNT Program?

  • 5-10 weekly in-person classes
    These classes will take place in London at your sign up time every week. It can seem daunting get back to exercise, we get it! If you keep saying“ I gotta try that class”, or “I really need to move my body more” to yourself, then this is your SIGN to jump in. The only person standing in your way… might be you.

    > 5 sessions for $69*. These sessions are to be used by June 17.

    > 10 sessions for $99*. These sessions are to be used by June 17.

  • 10% off a Align MVMNT class pass, membership, or other program after 4 week completion
    We know you will want to keep moving after this program! Take everything you have learned and head to a class, or dive into another program.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Yoga mat

  • Water bottle

  • No equipment needed, we will have everything you’ll need!

  • Workout journal - if you like to write things down!

WHERE WILL WE BE?

Old East Village, London - Spent together in the Align MVMNT Studio, 1010 Dundas St.

WHEN WILL WE BE STARTING?

May 13th for 5 weeks - perfect time to feel more confident in movement before the new year.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Women who are 55+ and either BRAND NEW to strength training, looking to get back into strength based movements, or wanting to improve their technique and take it back to basics.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A CLASS?

- > This class will be at individual stations, meaning you will have a mat and all your equipment at your fingertips. Together we will begin with a long mobilizing warm up, review technique for the day, then take on 4-6 strength based movements to complete the workout, then of course a proper cool down!

A few housekeeping notes for in person classes:

- We have a change room onsite if you need to do a quick change, before or after your class.

- Parking is best in the back lot, off Charlotte Ave. However, there is lots of street parking available along with the mini mart parking lot across the street off Dundas. You are welcome to come in the BACK door, unless of course you park off Dundas St! Just knock when you arrive.

- We highly encourage barefoot training.. this is totally optional. As movement lovers, we can understand a LOT about how your body moves and aligns from looking at your feet. It also helps you ground into the space and see your own alignment.

Most importantly, this experience is so much more than just a workout. Exercise has a direct correlation to how we feel about our body, and our own individual journey with fitness. It’s emotional, intimidating and most likely out of your comfort zone. We know this, we have lived this! You do not have to EARN anything in order to move with us, we want you to show up, as you are, and make it the best hour of your day.
